Annie Sloan is first and foremost an artist. She’s also the author of over 26 books on interiors, a colour expert, and the inventor of Chalk Paint.

Chalk Paint is an easy to use, quick to dry, decorative furniture paint with a luxurious matt finish which revolutionised the world of DIY and upcycling on its release in 1990.

Annie is also a businesswoman, one who knows the struggles faced by small independent businessowners. She is a woman on a mission to champion those local entrepreneurs who make our high streets more unique and colourful places, which is why her product range (now extending far beyond Chalk Paint to include Wall Paint, fabrics, brushes and more) is exclusively available through her network of over 1,600 independent Stockists located in over 40 countries around the world. Annie wants to make it as easy as possible for her customers to fall in love with painting, decorating and upcycling, whilst also supporting their community by spending their money with local businesses.
